Haycock Manor Hotel

Haycock Manor Hotel occupies a wonderfully historic setting in the picturesque village of Wansford, beside the River Nene. There has been an inn on the site since at least the 16th century, when it was known as the Swan Inn, while the present stone building incorporates a 17th-century structure dating from around 1632. Its position beside the river crossing made it a natural stopping point on the Great North Road, and coaches once passed directly through the inn’s entrance, bringing generations of travellers to its doors.
Today, that remarkable heritage has been thoughtfully preserved within an idyllic country-house hotel, set in 12 acres of gardens and offering stylish accommodation, fine dining and a peaceful rural retreat. An excellent location, then, for a high-end, boutique audio event.
Whether you’re travelling from the north or the south, the hotel is conveniently situated just moments from the A1 with ample parking.
The nearest mainline station is Peterborough, approximately 8.7 miles away, with regular services from London King's Cross and other major cities. From Peterborough station, the hotel is around a 12-minute taxi journey; there is also a bus service towards Wansford. Stamford station is another convenient option, around 6-7 miles from the hotel and served by trains on the Peterborough–Stansted/Cambridge route.
